It All Starts Here
A brief stop at the Shenandoah National Park visitor centers or one of our gift shops along Skyline Drive will give you the supplies you need to get the most from your visit. Booklets, trail guides, and other interpretive materials will help you explore and enjoy everything the park has to offer. You'll also find backcountry permits, Junior Ranger information and passport cancellations at the visitor centers. Dates/times of operation varies, so check the Overlook or park bulletin boards for current hours or visit the Shenandoah National Park's website.

Entrance fees
An entry pass is valid the day of purchase and the next six days. Entrance to the park from March through November is $15 per vehicle, $8 per pedestrian and bicyclist and $10 per motorcyclist. Commercial buses are also subject to entrance fees based on number of passengers.
Two types of annual passes are available to the public. These are good one full year from month of purchase. The Shenandoah Annual Pass for Shenandoah National Park entry is available for $30.00. An America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass - Annual Pass provides access and use of National Parks and National Recreation Areas is available for $80.00. Pick up either of these passes at park entrance stations.

Park Newspaper
Pick up the park visitor guide, the Shenandoah Overlook, for seasonal park information. Get your free copy at any entrance station, visitor center, park campground or concession facilities. For your convenience, here is a Skyland area map with mile markers along roads and trails.
