Get in touch with nature in these historic furnished cabins - our guests love their rustic charm and setting. The absence of in-room phones and internet access only adds to the total tranquility. The cabins sit side-by-side in a wooded area offering the basic creature comforts along with one tent cabin for the rugged hiker seeking shelter for the night. Slow down the pace as you cook out on your sheltered outdoor charcoal fire, dine on your own picnic table with songbirds providing dinner music.

Reservations for the 2010 season are being taken now.
Re-opens April 9, 2010. Closes noon, November 7, 2010.
2011 reservations will be taken beginning 8:00am Eastern time on

Cabins and rates

Private bathrooms
Heat, electric lights, bath towels and bed linens provided.
Tent / Hiker cabin has 4 bunks, pot bellied stove. NO bath. Restroom available 24 hrs. a day in the campground area.
Tent cabin is designated pet-friendly cabin.
All cabins and public areas are smoke-free environments.
Sheltered outdoor charcoal fire ring with an adjustable wire grill for cooking.
No refrigerator or sink; guest must provide cooler for food storage and all utensils for cooking and eating.
Registration inside campstore. If campstore closed upon arrival, please ring bell located above brochures at door for assistance. Manager on duty 24-hours.
No TV or room phones.

Pet Policies
* $10.00 per pet/per night non-refundable cleaning fee charged for tent cabin pet room.
* No more than two well-behaved pets permitted.
* Service animals always allowed.
* Pet owners will be liable for any additional cleaning bills or repairs should they be required.
* Pets must be declared at check-in. In consideration of all guests, pets must be attended at all times. Your pet cannot be left alone in your room unless in a portable kennel.
* Pets cannot be tied or left unattended on porches.
* Pets must be on a leash at all times while in the Park. Check the Park's website for their current policy - http://www.nps.gov/shen.
* Pets are not permitted in any public building. Service animals always allowed.
* When walking pets on the property, please be considerate of other guests and clean up after your pet.
* Mutt mitts are located in the tent cabin.

	Camper Store / Registration Sells wood, ice, charcoal and basic food supplies and retail. No fresh meat. Bath & shower facilities during regular operating hours.

Peak fall rates will be in effect on following dates: May 28, 29 & 30, July 2, 3 & 4 and Sept. 3, 4 & 5, 2010.
All rates based on single/double occupancy. A $2.50 utility pass-through plus State tax will be added to room rate, per room, per night. This fee is to help recover the cost of utilities in the Park. The price of utilities is much higher in remote elevated locations such as Shenandoah. Rates at Lewis Mountain Cabins subject to 5% state tax.
Each additional person - $11.00. Roll-away bed - $11.00.
