Guided Outdoor Adventure Programs Rating System

| This represents the easiest of programs. OK for small children that may need to be carried, or folks who may require the assistance of a cane. Mostly level to gently rolling terrain with some rocks and roots to be avoided. Distance covered less than 2 miles. |

| Moderately easy programs, children from age 8 and up. Rolling terrain with some steep uphill/downhill sections. Must have the ability to maneuver over rocks, roots and steps. Distances average 4-5 miles. |

| Moderate programs, appropriate for active adults and youth ages 10 and up. Expect uphill and downhill hiking, some steep, with occasional large rocks and roots requiring flexibility and maneuvering. Distances average 6-8 miles. |

| Moderate to strenuous, appropriate for active and fit adults and youth ages 10 and up. Expect challenging, steep terrain with obstacles requiring flexibility and dexterity to overcome. Distances from 4-12 miles. |
