Shenandoah Mountain Guides

The staff is composed of year-round outdoor professionals and a selected number of seasonal interns and trainees. Along with a variety of educational backgrounds and significant professional experiences, the common theme is a deep love for the natural world…specifically Shenandoah National Park.

Shenandoah Mountain Guides offers a wide variety of hard and soft skill training: from basic land navigation to rock climbing…from wilderness first aid to backpacking; mountain biking to whitewater canoeing; and, from Leave no Trace ethics training to backcountry trip leadership.

Starting in 2005, Shenandoah Mountain Guides began partnering with ARAMARK to offer enhanced recreation opportunities for visitors to Shenandoah National Park, VA. The combination of guided adventures and mountaintop accommodations are a perfect way to experience Shenandoah's best.

The guided hiking and climbing, waterfalls, mountaintops and wildflowers, 'adventure camp' (paddling, mountain biking, climbing, hiking) followed by optional massages, sumptuous meals, evening breezes and spectacular lodges…all make Shenandoah a unique experience.
