Join Jeff Alt, hiking expert, and author of the award-winning "A Walk for Sunshine", along with park rangers for a fun and informative event as they provide a hands-on hiking seminar for parents and children including: essential gear, types of clothing, planning, food, hydration, safety and how to keep the kids entertained. As an outdoorsman, Jeff knows first hand the important role the outdoors plays in our lives. As a masters level speech language pathologist and teacher, Jeff knows how critical it is to teach our children while they are young. As parents, Jeff and his wife have made it their mission to share all the greatness of the outdoors with their children.
